An example of Nunan's plantscaping
service
at Cell Signaling in Danvers, MA
You may remember this building as the old King's Grant Inn. When Cell Signaling took it over as the site for their business they asked Nunan Florist and Greenhouses to come in and create a plantscape. Below are pictures of the beautiful landscape Nunan's created and maintains which includes banana trees (which actually yield bananas), bird of paradise, a variety of palms, and many
other rare tropical plants.
University research indicates flowers and plants promote innovation and ideas.

Live plants cleanse the air and help maintain workers’ environment humidity to a healthy range. |
- Contemporary office buildings are often sealed environments which can produce up to 300 pollutants due to the many man-made materials such as paints and insulation. NASA funded studies found that interior plants cleanse the air of many harmful pollutants such as formaldehyde. Plants for Clean Air Council suggest one potted plant for each 100 square feet of floor space.
- When the air is too dry, people are susceptible to colds and flu. Through plants natural processes of transpiration and evaporation, they add enough moisture to the dry overheated air often found in sealed office environments. Studies also show that plants do not add moisture in significant amounts when the air is already moist.
